Chenin Blanc
These are some of the properties and characteristics of the Chenin Blanc grape:
- Moderately resistant to wind.
- It buds in early September. Flowers in early November. Matures in the end of February which is mid season.
- Sensitive to powdery mildew and very susceptible to botrytis.
- Leaves are dark green, medium round and have no lobes to three lobes.
- Berries are oval, are a greenish yellow and are small with a thinnish skin. The berries are very juicy.
Guavas, stewed apples, ripe pineapple, fresh fruit and, with age, honey.
