No names. No labels. No prices.
At judging sessions,wines are tasted blind. The wines have numbers only, so panellists are not influenced by labels, producers, winemakers' reputations or fancy packaging. They concern themselves only with what they taste in the glass.

Your regular pack comes with helpful neck tags.

What makes Wine-of-the-Month Club wines superior?
The wines are selected by a panel of paid judges. They taste blind. That is, judges do not see the bottles. So they are not influenced by wine labels, names of producers, winemakers' reputations or stylish packaging—they concern themselves only with what they taste in the glass.
When I find a wine I like, can I go on drinking it year after year?
Wines are vintage specific. Good vintages depend on the weather, which varies from year to year, region by region. Being a member of the Wine-of-the-Month Club means not getting the same wine year after year but always from farms or estates in areas that have experienced optimum growing conditions.
How can you say Wine-of-the-Month Club prices are the lowest?
We negotiate deals and buy limited ranges in quantity. That makes our prices low. They are almost always equal to and very often below what you would pay if you bought the wines directly at a wine estate's cellar door.
Who chooses the wines?
Our panel of qualified wine judges meets monthly to taste blind, debate, and select the wines that earn a place in your case. See below to see who is on the panel.
How often do I receive wine?
As frequently as you like: monthly, every 2 months, every 3 months or every 4 months. And you can choose to receive either a 6-bottle or a 12-bottle pack. We recommend you start with every 2 months.
What if I get a wine I don't like?
We give you this simple, straightforward and honest-to-goodness guarantee: Buy a case or half-a-case of any one type of wine. Open a bottle. You don't like it? Call us. We'll collect the remainder of the case and refund you in full. No questions asked.
What if I drink only red wine?
No problem. You can choose to receive only red wines, only white wines, or mixed cases. You can also change your wine preferences at any time.
Is there a membership fee?
No. You not only enjoy panel-selected wines but your regular pack comes with the SA Connoisseur newsletter and neck tags you can attach to each bottle in your wine rack—to give you a permanent record of the panel's tasting notes, food pairing suggestions, when best to enjoy the wine, etc. The tags help to make your enjoyment of it more informative and rewarding.
