The best wine advice
Dear Reader

The best wine advice I ever received was from a Norwegian—surprisingly, as his native country is not really known for its appreciation of good wine.

He told me to buy the best wines I could afford. To drink the wines thoughtfully, slowly, attentively. And to continue doing this for as long as I could afford to do so. At the end of the period, he said, I would suddenly find I had become a connoisseur.

With that in mind, try some wine from our newly launched international wine category.

Try to lookout for subtle differences in style and terroir. Better yet, get some friends together and have a blind tasting of, let’s say, a South African and New Zealand Pinot Noir. Look out for how the NZ Pinot Noirs offer a broad spectrum of both aroma and flavour while the SA wines exhibit predominantly red fruit.

Kind Regards,
