This distinctive South African gin is crafted in harmony with nature at Wilderer Distilleries, using the finest neutral wine spirits, pristine spring water from the Franschhoek mountains, and a carefully selected suite of indigenous botanicals from the Cape Fynbos Floral Kingdom - a remarkably diverse botanical region. Master Distiller Helmut Wilderer and team incorporate around 27 local herbs, roots and spices (including buchu, honeybush, wild dagga and devil’s claw) to create a complex, herb-driven spirit that captures the essence of South Africa’s unique flora.
Nose: A well-balanced bouquet of juniper and lively citrus with rich herbal and floral fynbos nuances.
Palate: Crisp and layered, showing classic juniper at its core with lively citrus zest, savoury herbal depth and a hint of spice - reflecting the complexity of the fynbos botanicals.
Finish: Clean and lingering, with herbaceous and floral echoes that make it both interesting and versatile.
