Produced by Van Loveren Family Vineyards in the Robertson Wine Valley, the Absolute Zero range was developed for drinkers looking for the celebratory feel of sparkling wine without the alcohol. Robertson’s warm days and cool evenings create ideal growing conditions for vibrant fruit expression and naturally fresh acidity, both of which are important when crafting de-alcoholised sparkling wines with balance and flavour.
Van Loveren has been family-owned since 1937 and remains one of South Africa’s best-known wine producers. The Absolute Zero Nectar Sparkling forms part of the estate’s modern alcohol-free range, focusing on freshness, texture, and easy-drinking appeal rather than trying to imitate traditional sparkling wine too heavily.
The wine is gently de-alcoholised after production to retain its fruit profile and fine bubbles, resulting in a softly styled sparkling with approachable sweetness and a smooth finish.
