Three Ships Whisky is produced at the James Sedgwick Distillery in Wellington, the heart of South Africa’s whisky production. The Three Ships 6-Year-Old Chenin Blanc Cask Finish highlights the intersection of South Africa’s whisky and wine traditions. After maturing in traditional oak whisky casks, the spirit is finished in barrels that previously held Chenin Blanc - one of the country’s most widely planted and expressive white grape varieties. This finishing period introduces subtle fruit and freshness to the whisky while preserving the rich malt character developed during its primary maturation.
