The Merindol range honours classic Rhône inspiration while expressing the character of Stellenbosch fruit. Nose:
Blackberry, plum and blueberry aromas lead the nose, followed by cracked black pepper, violet, smoked meat and subtle oak spice.
Palate:
Medium- to full-bodied and layered, with dark berry fruit, olive tapenade and savoury spice. Fine tannins provide structure, while fresh acidity keeps the palate focused and balanced.
Finish:
