Glendalough Distillery brings a distinctly Irish pot still whiskey to life, honouring one of Ireland’s most historic styles - a mash of malted and unmalted barley distilled in traditional pot stills. The spirit is initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels before receiving up to a year’s finish in Irish oak hogsheads sourced sustainably from the Wicklow mountains surrounding the distillery. This local oak finishing adds spice, tannin and depth to the classic pot still profile, marrying heritage technique with a strong sense of place. Each bottle is individually numbered, offering traceability back to the cask and oak tree that helped shape it.
