Cape Town Rooibos Red Gin is produced by the Cape Town Gin & Spirits Company, a craft distillery focused on capturing the distinctive botanical heritage of South Africa. Founded in 2015, the brand developed a range of gins that showcase indigenous ingredients from the Western Cape.
This expression highlights rooibos, the red bush plant indigenous to the rugged Cederberg Mountains, where it grows naturally in the region’s sandy soils and warm climate. The gin is infused with organic, handpicked rooibos, along with classic botanicals such as juniper, citrus peel and warming spices, creating a spirit that reflects both traditional gin structure and local flavour.
The rooibos infusion gives the gin its distinctive deep red hue and introduces earthy, slightly sweet notes that set it apart from conventional citrus-forward gins. The result is a spirit that celebrates South African ingredients while remaining approachable and versatile.

Deep ruby-red with bright clarity, reflecting the rooibos infusion.
Nose:
