Made by the team at Stellenrust Wine Estate, Kleine Rust Chenin Blanc Sauvignon Blanc 2024 comes from one of the longstanding family-owned estates in Stellenbosch, producing wine since 1928 with a commitment to quality and expressive fruit. Situated partly in the cool Bottelary Hills with influences of maritime breezes, the vineyards provide ripe, tropical fruit and crisp acidity that give this white blend its lively personality. Stellenrust combines careful vineyard sourcing with straightforward, stainless-steel fermentation to preserve freshness and varietal character - a hallmark of its approachable, everyday wines.
Colour: Pale straw with subtle green hints, reflecting brightness and youthful energy.
Nose: Aromas of boxwood and fresh greenery merge with ripe tropical notes - think mango and gooseberry - alongside hints of guava and citrus zest.
Palate: Light to medium bodied with juicy tropical fruit and orchard characters. The Chenin Blanc brings weight and fruit ripeness while Sauvignon Blanc lifts the profile with zesty acidity, herbaceous lift and a hint of grassiness.
