Panel’s Best Selection from September Blind Tastings
Dear Reader

I know life can be busy. That is why you’re always skimming and scanning everything that you read. Even this email. And when it comes to wine you probably don’t have the time to look for something new, so to save time our Panel does the tasting for you and recommends only the very best wine at the best price.

The panel blind tasted over 300 wines and selected these 4 as their best selection for September.

My favourite was the Stellenbosch Vineyards Credo SMV 2015:
Bright deep ruby; warm Christmas pudding aroma with wisp smoke and touch of liquorice. Full-bodied & dry, all aromas move onto palate with tangy red plums, easy tannins in dry finish. Crispy duck breast with spiced plums, or beef goulash with sweet peppers on gnocchi, or devilled kidneys on toasts.

I wouldn’t wait, this wine is ready to drink now, so no need to put it down in the cellar.

This wine should be in the R180+ a bottle price category. But, in fact, it only costs R129.
