The Panel’s Best for October | 3 wine flight ideas
Dear Reader

Wine flights are a great way to figure out what you like in a wine. It helps identify certain aromas and tastes that you can pick up in other wines. And tasting side-by-side helps reveal subtle differences that can easily be missed.

In the wine business we call this style a Comparative Tasting, and usually each person attending the tasting brings one bottle based on a specific theme.

You don’t need to be an expert to do this, simply decide on a theme and invite your friends over to compare. Where do you start? How about:

•    Merlot vs Pinotage
•    Unoaked vs Oaked Chardonnay
•    How Ageing Affects Red Wine

To help get you started, below are some of the panel’s best wines from their October blind tastings. And as we start heading to the festive season I couldn’t help including some mixed cases, plus a FREE bottle of bubbly to enjoy too.

Kind Regards,
