Panel's Best Selection from September Blind Tastings
Dear Reader

I know life can be busy. That is why you’re always skimming and scanningeverything that you read. Even this email. And when it comes to wine you probably don’t have the time to look for something new, so to save time our Panel does the tasting for you and recommends only the very best wine at the best price.

The panel blind tasted over 200 wines and selected these 4 as their best selectionfor September.

My favourite was the Journey’s End Huntsman 2015:
Deep pinky ruby; lovely invite of brambleberry, scrub, cured meat and liquorice. Mid weight with clever flavour combo; subtly smoky and dark-fruited with discreet but firm tannins. Understated and stylish. Pair it with baked aubergine layered with tomato and Parmesan, or osso bucco (don’t forget the gremolata!), or a thickribeye steak.

I wouldn’t wait, this wine is ready to drink now, so no need to put it down in the cellar.

This wine should be in the R120-R150 a bottle price category. But, in fact, it only costs R89.

Kind Regards,

P.S. Thank you for your ongoing business. Please let me know if there is anything about our service we could improve on. And remember. Always. If there is ever a case of wine with which you are not entirely satisfied, there is a money back guarantee, we’ll collect the balance and refund you for the product’s full value.
