Tomorrow is Bastille Day ... The French National Day commemorates the Storming of the Bastille on 14th of July 1789, a turning point of the French Revolution, as well as the Fête de la Fédération which celebrated the unity of the French people on the 14th of July 1790.
To celebrate its French heritage, Franschhoek hosts a fantastic Bastille Day weekend every year and is certainly worth a visit.
