Dear Reader
I have always loved wine, even before I started Wine-of-the-Month Club—I didn’t know much about it at the time though, but I wanted to learn more. I knew I couldn’t be the only one and that is where the business stemmed from.
How do I get my customers the best of the latest releases & provide more info about each wine? That was the big question & the following process shows how we answered it:
Wine farms submit latest releases to the panel—Panel of wine experts blind taste these wines—Panel scores these wines—We purchase only the highest scoring wines, judged by the panel—Deliver these wines to our customers’ doors—With more info about the wine like when best to drink it, what to pair it with, vineyard info, tasting notes, etc.
Since then … the business has evolved, but some things will never change—like our panel of wine experts—who blind taste over 2000 wines a year so that we can keep bringing you the finest wine SA has to offer … speaking of which, see below, these were rated 1st in their respective tastings in April. |
