The Limited Release (L.R) range highlights grape varieties that are less commonly seen in South Africa but well suited to the Cape’s Mediterranean climate. Grenache thrives in warm, dry conditions and produces expressive wines with lifted aromatics and gentle tannin structure.
For the Stellenbosch Vineyards L.R Grenache 2023, grapes are hand-harvested and fermented on the skins before maturation in older oak barrels. This restrained oak influence allows the natural red-fruit character of Grenache to remain the focus while adding subtle texture and complexity.
