Many editions in the Secret Speyside range are independently bottled and matured for 14 years, often in premium sherry-seasoned casks, before being released under the “Secret” label to focus attention on flavour rather than distillery branding. The result is a whisky that marries the elegance and balance typical of Speyside with the deeper complexity imparted by extended cask ageing.
Nose:
Lifted citrus peel - fresh orange and lemon zest - meets gentle vanilla, wood spice and subtle floral hints, suggesting orchard fruit framed by delicate oak.
