Nestled in the Robertson Wine Valley along the Breede River, Zandvliet Wine Estate has built its reputation on producing wines that faithfully reflect their terroir. While best known for Shiraz, the estate also crafts an elegant Muscat that showcases the versatility of this ancient grape variety. Warm days encourage full flavour development, while cool evening temperatures help preserve freshness and vibrant aromatics. Careful harvesting and gentle winemaking retain the grape's naturally intense floral character and sweetness, resulting in a wine that is rich yet refreshing rather than heavy.

Colour: Bright golden straw with youthful brilliance.
Nose: Expressive aromas of orange blossom, honeysuckle and rose petals are layered with ripe peach, apricot, lychee and hints of citrus peel.
Palate: Silky and naturally sweet, offering flavours of apricot, ripe peach, tropical fruit and citrus zest. The sweetness is lifted by fresh acidity, giving the wine a lively, balanced mouthfeel that never feels cloying.
Finish: Long, fragrant and clean, with lingering notes of honey, stone fruit and delicate floral perfume.

  • Food Pairing : Zandvliet Muscat 2026 is a natural match for fruit-based desserts such as apricot tart, baked peaches or lemon meringue pie, where the wine's sweetness mirrors the fruit while its acidity keeps the pairing fresh. It is equally enjoyable with creamy blue cheese, mature Brie or Camembert, where the richness of the cheese contrasts beautifully with the wine's vibrant floral character. For a lighter option, serve well chilled alongside fresh summer fruit or enjoy as a dessert on its own.
  • Drink before: Enjoy while young for its vibrant aromatics, or cellar for 5–8 years as the wine develops richer honeyed and marmalade characteristics.
  • Vintage: 2026
  • Region: Robertson, Western Cape
  • Sugar Content: 140g/L
