Wellington Wines consists today of over 60 members, who are all farmers from Wellington and neighbouring areas of the Swartland and Paarl, who work closely with winemakers and viticulturists to ensure that only the best grapes are grown and selected for their outstanding quality. The Duke Sauvignon Blanc 2025 is a fresh and aromatic white wine, with a subtle flinty edge and wet stone minerality. Classic varietal aromas of gooseberry, cut grass, and tinned peas are lifted by tropical hints of passion fruit. Crisp and well-balanced, with lively acidity driving flavours of lime, green apple, and white peach. The mid-palate is juicy and vibrant, leading to a lingering finish layered with pineapple, gooseberry, and passion fruit. Subtle mineral notes add complexity and elegance. A clean, crisp, and fruit-forward Sauvignon Blanc, showcasing both freshness and finesse.
