Situated on the foothills of the Simonsberg mountain outside Paarl, Anura Vineyards benefits from a combination of warm sunny days and cooling afternoon breezes that encourage even ripening while preserving natural acidity. The estate is family-owned and has built a reputation for producing approachable, fruit-driven wines that reflect the character of their vineyards. For the Anura Pinot Grigio 2025, grapes were hand-sorted, gently pressed and cool-fermented in stainless steel before spending three months on the lees. This careful, minimal-intervention approach enhances texture while allowing the fresh aromatics and lively fruit to remain the focus.
Colour: Pale straw with youthful green highlights and brilliant clarity.
Nose: Fragrant aromas of honeysuckle, lemongrass and citrus are complemented by notes of ripe apricot, white peach and delicate blossom.
Palate: Light to medium-bodied with crisp citrus acidity and a smooth, rounded texture from lees maturation. Flavours of fresh peach, apricot and lemon mingle with subtle floral notes and a gentle hint of spice, creating a wine that is lively without being sharp.
Finish: Clean, refreshing and pleasantly smooth, leaving lingering citrus and delicate stone fruit flavours.
