Boland Cellar has been rooted in the Paarl region since 1941, working collaboratively with a wide network of growers in the Western Cape to craft wines that reflect regional fruit expression with approachable character. The Melita range - named after the ancient Greek figure associated with bees and honey - underlines the cellar’s sustainability ethos; proceeds contribute to bee-friendly initiatives and a lighter-alcohol style that resonates with evolving consumer tastes without sacrificing flavour. Boland Cellar’s winemaking approach for this Chenin Blanc emphasises freshness, vibrancy and pure varietal fruit, keeping oak influence minimal to foreground bright, youthful expression.
