Glengoyne White Oak is a distinctive Highland single malt from Glengoyne Distillery, celebrated for its slow distillation and clean, unpeated spirit. Unlike the distillery’s traditional sherry-matured expressions, this NAS release is aged exclusively in first-fill bourbon and virgin American oak barrels, unlocking vibrant oak character and creamy texture. Bottled at 48 % ABV with natural colour and no chill-filtration, it delivers a bold yet refined style that highlights both traditional craft and modern cask innovation.
On the nose, expect vibrant oak and vanilla alongside bright citrus, sponge cake and crisp orchard fruit with a hint of ginger spice.
The palate is soft and playful with layers of crème brûlée, candied lemon, jam tarts and tropical fruit notes like pineapple.
The finish delivers toasted oak laced with caramel and a lingering touch of citrus-tinged warmth.
