L'Avenir Wine Estate is situated on the lower slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain in Stellenbosch, one of South Africa's most respected wine-producing regions. The estate's position benefits from cooler Atlantic breezes, which help preserve freshness and acidity in the grapes while allowing fruit flavours to develop.
The Provenance range reflects L'Avenir's approach to winemaking, combining South African varietal character with a touch of French influence. Its Chenin Blanc is crafted from selected estate vineyards, with the established style bringing together unwooded wine and a portion matured in French oak barrels. This combination lends the wine fresh fruit character, subtle spice and added texture without overwhelming the grape's natural personality.
