The Sperling family have been making internationally acclaimed wines of character for over 8 decades on their farm, Delheim Wine Estate in Stellenbosch. The farm is one of the Cape’s most beloved wineries thanks to the premier terroir that shines through its excellent wines. The Delheim Edelspatz Noble Late Harvest 2022 is a sweet dessert wine made from 100% Riesling grapes affected by Botrytis cinerea (noble rot). It has a fragrant nose with notes of honey suckle, dried peaches, and marmalade, and a palate with a good balance of sugar and acidity, featuring fruit flavours like dried apricot, passion fruit, and cumquat. This sweet wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for up to 30 years.
