Six Dogs Pinotage Stained Gin 750ml
Six Dogs Pinotage Stained Gin is a uniquely South African gin that blends traditional craft distillation with a touch of vinous creativity. Starting with a juniper-forward base distilled in small batches, the spirit is macerated with handpicked Pinotage grapes - the country’s signature red cultivar - for several weeks, allowing the gin to take on a deep ruby hue and subtle fruit character without added sweetness.
The result is a visually striking gin with layered aroma and flavour, where classic botanicals meet hints of black cherry, plum and blackcurrant, underpinned by refreshing juniper and bright citrus notes.
On the nose, expect a juniper-centric aroma lifted by fruity Pinotage echoes - dark cherry and plum - balanced by coriander and gentle spice. The palate follows with juicy red fruit characters that mingle with dry gin botanicals, offering complexity and a smooth finish with a whisper of tannin-like structure from the grape skins.
- Food Pairing : Enjoy this gin neat over ice to appreciate its distinctive fusion of botanicals and grape essence, or pair with premium tonic water for a ruby-tinged gin-and-tonic. A slice of citrus or a few frozen red grapes make eye-catching garnishes that complement the fruit profile beautifully.
