Six Dogs Honey Lime Gin is produced by Six Dogs Distillery, located in a remote valley near the edge of the Karoo, where fynbos and semi-desert landscapes meet. This unique environment plays a subtle but important role in shaping the distillery’s identity - wild botanicals, clean air, and a strong focus on sustainability.
The gin itself originated from a conservation initiative involving rescued bees relocated to the distillery farm. The resulting honey, combined with farm-grown limes, became the foundation for this distinctive expression. Crafted in small batches using traditional distillation methods, Six Dogs Honey Lime Gin balances classic juniper structure with a gentle, natural sweetness and bright citrus lift - a modern South African interpretation of flavoured gin done with restraint and intent.

Juniper and coriander form the base, layered with fresh lime zest and a subtle floral sweetness from honey. There’s a light herbal undertone that keeps it grounded.

Zesty lime leads the way, followed by a soft, rounded honey note that adds texture rather than overt sweetness. Juniper remains present, giving structure, while the mouthfeel is smooth and approachable.
Finish:
Clean and refreshing, with lingering citrus and a gentle honeyed warmth that fades neatly without becoming sticky.
