Van Loveren Family Vineyards is a family-owned winery in the Robertson Wine Valley, with the Retief family at its heart since 1937. Robertson's warm days and cooler evenings provide favourable conditions for producing Sauvignon Blanc with expressive fruit and fresh acidity. Absolute Zero Nectar is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc. The wine is fermented before the alcohol is removed using spinning-cone technology, a process designed to retain the wine's fruit character and aromatic freshness. It is then presented as a lightly sweet, alcohol-free sparkling wine with fine, lively bubbles.
Colour: Pale straw with a bright, clear appearance and a fine stream of bubbles.
Nose: Fresh white flowers and ripe white fruit lead into honeyed notes, with hints of fresh fruit and nougat adding richness.
Palate: Soft and gently sweet, with flavours of white peach and apricot alongside honey and fresh fruit. Fine, persistent bubbles provide lift, while balanced acidity keeps the palate refreshing rather than overly sweet.
Finish: Smooth and clean, with lingering fruit, gentle sweetness and a refreshing line of acidity.
