Since 2018, the Tulbagh based winery has been under the management of Dirk Swanepoel, the youngest son of the family, who has perfected his winemaking craft in, among other places, the renowned Sonoma County in California. The Swanepoel Shiraz / Syrah 2019 is an outstanding vintage with aromas of concentrated mulberries and black berries with subtle fynbos notes. The juicy tannins ensure a long-lasting taste. A renowned winemaker with international experience, Dirk Swanepoel has created an excellent red wine.
