Situated near Stellenbosch, Spier is one of South Africa’s oldest wine farms with a recorded winemaking history dating back to 1692. Continuing a long-held tradition, Spier is a family-owned farm. The current owners acquired the farm in 1993 and continue to produce wines that are among the most awarded in the country. The Spier Creative Block 3 2021 is a red wine blend of Shiraz, Mourvèdre and Viognier. The most awarded wine within the Creative Block range, this Bordeaux-style blend is a firm favourite. Through craft and expertise, the Spier winemakers have created a harmonious blend that does not compromise on the innate quality of each varietal. The vibrant palate offers dense tannins with notes of dark chocolate, berries, cedar and hints of fennel.
