Distilled in Scotland (May 2018), it was aged initially for three years in ex-bourbon casks, then shipped to South Africa where it continued maturing - finishing in a mix of French and American oak barrels in the Western Cape. It’s a single-grain (or single-malt-style) whisky with a smooth profile and layered complexity.
