Speyburn distillery is a Speyside Scottish whisky distillery, in Rothes, Moray, Scotland. To create this charming 15-year-old single malt scotch whisky both ex-American and ex-Spanish oak casks are used. Left to steep for a decade and a half, the spirit is endowed with deep rich flavours from the barrels before being combined by master distillers to produce this splendid Speyside dram. The Speyburn 15-Year-Old Single Malt Whisky displays hints of rich dark chocolate with spicy notes of raisins, zesty citrus fruits and vanilla on the nose. On the palate there are notes of oranges, toffee, vanilla and leather, all wrapped together with a gentle spice. The long-lasting finish has a warming spice which is sweet and creamy.
