Produced by Blaauwklippen Wine Estate, one of Stellenbosch’s historic wine farms, this Sauvignon Blanc reflects the estate’s focus on expressing Stellenbosch fruit with freshness, balance and texture. The vineyards are situated at varying elevations, with careful canopy management used to help preserve Sauvignon Blanc’s characteristic aromas. The grapes are harvested by hand during the cooler hours and transported quickly to the cellar. Cold fermentation helps retain freshness and aromatic intensity, while extended contact with fine lees can contribute a little extra texture and savoury depth.
Colour: Pale straw with a delicate green tint.
Nose: Fresh aromas of white peach, pear, pineapple and lemon zest, with subtle floral and green-herb notes.
Palate: Bright and refreshing, with flavours of citrus, ripe orchard fruit and gentle tropical fruit. Lively acidity provides energy, while a lightly rounded texture adds balance.
Finish: Clean, elegant and refreshing, with lingering notes of lemon zest, peach and fresh herbs.
