Produced by Flagstone Wines and crafted by winemaker Gerhard Swart, Poetry Sauvignon Blanc reflects the winery’s creative approach to winemaking. The Poetry range is built around the idea of distilling nature and winemaking into an expressive, approachable bottle, while respecting Flagstone’s long winemaking heritage. The wine is sourced from the Western Cape and fermented in stainless-steel tanks. This allows the winemaking team to preserve Sauvignon Blanc’s fresh aromatics, lively acidity and clean fruit character, rather than introducing overt oak flavours.
Colour: Pale straw with a delicate green hue.
Nose: Fresh and inviting, with aromas of melon and passion fruit.
Palate: Light-bodied and dry, with flavours of green fig, citrus and fresh orchard fruit. The palate is lively and tangy, with crisp acidity providing energy and balance.
Finish: Clean, refreshing and gently lingering, with a zesty citrus note.
