Ernie Els Wines is based on the slopes of the Helderberg in Stellenbosch, where vineyards benefit from excellent sunlight exposure balanced by cooling Atlantic breezes. This combination, along with clay-rich and decomposed granite soils, creates ideal conditions for structured red varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

The Signature range represents the estateâs flagship expression - a classic Bordeaux-style blend crafted with a focus on structure, longevity, and layered complexity. Each varietal component is vinified separately and matured in French oak before final blending, allowing for precision and balance in the final wine. The style leans toward bold New World fruit supported by Old World structure, reflecting both Stellenbosch terroir and a meticulous winemaking approach.
