Benguela Cove Wine Estate is located in Walker Bay near Hermanus, one of South Africa’s most distinctive cool-climate regions. Positioned alongside the Bot River Lagoon and within sight of the Atlantic Ocean, the vineyards benefit from constant maritime influence - cooling winds, morning mists, and a wide diurnal range all contribute to slow, even ripening.
This environment is particularly well suited to Pinot Noir, allowing for the development of delicate aromatics, fine tannins, and natural acidity. The estate follows a site-driven philosophy, with fruit grown, vinified, and bottled on-site to preserve a clear sense of place.
