Produced by Bruce Jack Wines, this Shiraz reflects the producer’s focus on expressive fruit, approachable structure and thoughtful blending. The grapes are sourced from selected vineyards across the Western Cape, bringing together fruit grown in different soils and climatic conditions. The grapes are harvested during the cooler early morning hours, then destemmed and fermented on the skins in a combination of open and closed tanks. Gentle pump-overs help extract colour and flavour while retaining a soft, juicy mouthfeel. The wine is matured in a combination of stainless-steel tanks and barrels before blending, adding depth and subtle oak complexity.

Colour: Deep ruby red with rich purple hues.
Nose: A generous bouquet of ripe plum and raspberry, layered with Indian spice, black pepper and hints of dark chocolate.
Palate: Full and fruit-driven, with flavours of black forest fruit, ripe plum and dark chocolate. The palate is smooth and rounded, supported by gentle tannins and a subtle savoury spice character.
Finish: Soft and lingering, with ripe fruit, peppery spice and a touch of chocolate.

  • Food Pairing : This generous, medium- to full-bodied Shiraz pairs naturally with grilled steak, lamb chops, beef burgers, Peking duck, grilled mushrooms and rich pasta dishes. Its ripe plum and dark-fruit flavours complement smoky braai flavours, while the peppery spice and smooth tannins work well with roasted meats, savoury sauces and nutty cheeses.
