Clos Malverne is a boutique wine estate situated in the picturesque Devon Valley area of Stellenbosch, a region renowned for producing structured, expressive red wines. For the Merlot, fermentation takes place in open tanks with gentle extraction before maturation in French oak. Colour: Deep ruby red with youthful purple highlights.
Nose: Expressive aromas of ripe red berries, black cherry and plum are complemented by hints of star anise, gentle smokiness and subtle oak spice.
