Deep ruby with a garnet edge, dense in the glass with youthful brightness.
Nose:
Blackcurrant, plum and dark cherry lead the aromatics, followed by cedar, tobacco leaf and subtle notes of cocoa and spice from oak ageing.
Palate:
Medium- to full-bodied with a smooth, generous core of cassis and ripe blackberry fruit. Fine-grained tannins give structure without harshness, while fresh acidity keeps the wine lifted and composed. Oak influence adds savoury depth rather than dominating the fruit.
Finish:
Persistent and dry, finishing with dark berries, cedar and a gentle graphite note.
