Cape Town Wine Co sources fruit from vineyards in the broader Cape Town area and nearby coastal sites, using the cooling influence of Atlantic breezes to craft fresh, accessible reds. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are classic Bordeaux partners: Cabernet brings structure, darker fruit and grip, while Merlot adds plushness and ease of drinking. Grapes are typically picked for ripe, but not overripe, flavours and fermented in stainless steel, with measured oak maturation to soften tannins and add a touch of spice. The style aims for an everyday, Cape interpretation of a traditional blend – generous fruit, moderate alcohol and a clean, food-friendly finish.
