Boland Cellar is one of South Africa’s historic and respected wine producers, with roots stretching back over eight decades of winemaking and grape sourcing across multiple Western Cape regions. The One Formation range takes its name from nature’s instinctive unity - much like birds flying in formation - and symbolises Boland Cellar’s commitment to skilled blending and cooperative viticulture. Grapes for this SGV blend are drawn from vineyards selected for quality fruit characteristics: crisp, aromatic Sauvignon Blanc carries citrus and green notes; creamy Chenin Blanc brings structure and pear-like richness; and Grenache Blanc adds gentle softness and textural breadth. Together, these cultivars are blended to create a wine that feels cohesive yet expressive of its South African origins.
