The Credo range is part of the estate’s Collection of Fine Wines, designed to express both varietal character and regional nuance from well-chosen vineyard sites within the wider Stellenbosch district. The SMV (Shiraz, Merlot, Viognier) blend brings together Shiraz’s spicy, rich core with Merlot’s plushness and a floral lift from Viognier, balanced by attentive oak maturation. It’s a wine that reflects Stellenbosch Vineyards’ approachable yet confident winemaking philosophy - sound structure, clear fruit focus, and everyday enjoyment with depth.

Nose:
Lifted aromatics of violets and plum are enhanced by black and white peppercorn spice, with hints of liquorice and subtle cedar from oak influence.
Palate:
The palate is medium- to full-bodied, showing juicy dark fruit - plum, black cherry and bramble - framed by soft tannins. A smooth, dense mid-palate delivers richness and texture with integrated spice and gentle savoury threads that make for balanced drinking.
Finish:
A lingering finish carries spice and dark fruit flavours, with a polished, easy-drinking closure that invites another sip.
