Native Honeybush Gin is produced by The Distilling Natives, a South African craft distillery focused on expressing local flavour through contemporary gin making. The spirit draws inspiration from indigenous botanicals, most notably honeybush, a fragrant Cape plant known for its naturally sweet, earthy and floral character.
This gin combines classic juniper structure with a layered botanical recipe including citrus peels, lemongrass, coriander seed, cubeb berries, grains of paradise and liquorice root. The result is a modern South African gin that balances freshness, spice and native character with impressive clarity.

Nose:
Piney juniper and fresh citrus aromas lead first, followed by lemongrass, soft floral notes and a gentle honeyed herbal lift.
Palate:
Crisp and lively, with classic juniper upfront supported by lemon peel, lime zest and warming spice. Mid-palate brings coriander, peppery complexity and subtle sweetness from liquorice root, before honeybush adds rounded earthy depth.
Finish:
Clean and lingering, finishing with soft spice, dried herbs and delicate honeybush warmth.
