Tanagra Winery & Guest Farm is a small, artisanal producer nestled in McGregor, surrounded by wild fynbos and the Klein Karoo’s distinctive landscape. Vineyards are kept in modest blocks with low yields and minimal intervention - natural yeast fermentations, whole-berry techniques and thoughtful use of oak allow the vineyard’s character to shine. The Single Vineyard Cabernet Franc is a showcase of this hands-on philosophy: pure varietal expression tempered by gentle French oak support, revealing not just fruit but a clear sense of place from the Breede River Valley.
Colour: Bright, medium ruby with an inviting translucent edge in the glass.
Nose: Aromas open with dark berry notes of cassis and plum, underscored by subtle spice and a hint of green herbaceousness that keeps the profile lively.
