The estate focuses strongly on classic varieties, with Cabernet Sauvignon playing a central role thanks to the region’s ability to produce wines with both ripeness and structure.
The vineyards are planted on well-drained soils that encourage deep root systems and concentrated fruit. In the cellar, the approach is measured and traditional - aiming to express varietal character while building structure through careful oak maturation. The result is a Cabernet that reflects Paarl’s generous fruit profile, balanced by firm tannins and a more restrained, Old World-inspired framework.

Nose:
Blackcurrant and dark cherry lead, followed by notes of cedar, tobacco leaf, and a touch of graphite. Hints of spice and dried herbs add complexity.
Palate:
Full-bodied with a structured, confident feel. The dark fruit core is supported by firm, well-defined tannins and balanced acidity. Oak is present but integrated, adding subtle spice and texture without dominating the fruit.
Finish:
Long and dry, with lingering cassis, fine tannins, and a savoury, slightly earthy edge.
