Wolfburn Distillery is an independent Highland producer located in Thurso, near Scotland’s northernmost mainland point. Named after the crystal-clear Wolf Burn water that feeds its stills, the distillery revives a historic spirit-making legacy with modern precision and traditional methods - including long fermentations, gentle double distillation, and maturation in classic oak casks. The Wolfburn Aurora Single Malt Scotch Whisky is matured in a thoughtful combination of bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, yielding a harmoniously balanced dram with layered character and approachable richness. Bottled at 46 % ABV without chill filtration or added colour, it reflects Wolfburn’s commitment to authenticity and flavour integrity.
Nose:
A warm, inviting bouquet of dried fruit and sweet sherry influence leads, with hints of vanilla, freshly cut grass, subtle autumn fruits and gentle oak spice weaving through.
Palate:
