Villiera Wines is a family-owned estate in the Stellenbosch region and has become one of South Africa’s most respected Cap Classique producers. The Grier family has farmed the property for generations, combining traditional bottle-fermented sparkling wine methods with a strong environmental focus that includes wildlife conservation, solar energy initiatives and sustainable vineyard practices.
The Shooting Star Brut NV is produced in the traditional Méthode Cap Classique style, using carefully selected Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinotage grapes harvested early to preserve freshness and natural acidity. Whole bunch pressing and extended lees contact help develop gentle yeasty complexity while maintaining a bright, approachable style designed for easy enjoyment.

Fresh citrus, green apple and pear aromas lead the nose, followed by light biscuit, brioche and subtle floral notes.
