While Rust en Vrede is best known for its structured Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux-style wines, this range allows the team to explore a broader palette of varieties and vineyard sites across Stellenbosch.
The Cinsault 2024 reflects a more contemporary winemaking approach, with fruit sourced from selected vineyards that emphasise freshness and aromatic clarity. Gentle extraction and restrained oak use ensure the wine remains focused on purity and texture, offering a lighter, more nuanced expression of Stellenbosch red wine.
It’s a style that leans towards finesse - highlighting bright fruit, subtle savoury detail, and drinkability without losing a sense of place.
