Springfield Special Cuvee Sauvignon Blanc 2025
Sauvignon Blanc
Description
Situated in the Robertson Valley, Springfield Estate is a family-owned winery run by the Bruwer family, descendants of French Huguenot settlers who have farmed the region for generations. The estate's limestone-rich soils, warm climate and cooling evening temperatures create ideal conditions for producing wines that combine fruit purity with natural freshness.
Springfield's philosophy, encapsulated in its "Made on Honour" motto, is rooted in minimal intervention and a belief that exceptional wines are made primarily in the vineyard. The Special Cuvée Sauvignon Blanc is one of the estate's most recognised wines, crafted to showcase the variety's expressive fruit while retaining balance and elegance. Careful vineyard selection and restrained winemaking allow the distinctive character of Robertson Sauvignon Blanc to shine through, resulting in a wine that is both approachable and refined.
