Springfield Life From Stone Sauvignon Blanc 2025
Sauvignon Blanc
Description
Springfield Estate is situated in the Robertson Valley, where ancient limestone-rich and rocky soils play a defining role in the character of the wines. Family-owned by the Bruwer family, descendants of French Huguenot settlers, the estate has built a reputation for producing wines that express their origin with honesty and precision.
Â
The name Life From Stone refers to the remarkably stony soils in which the Sauvignon Blanc vines are grown. These challenging conditions naturally limit vigour and yields, encouraging the vines to produce fruit with concentration and intensity. Guided by Springfield's "Made on Honour" philosophy, the wine is crafted with minimal intervention, allowing the vineyard's distinctive mineral character and the freshness of the Robertson climate to take centre stage. The result is a Sauvignon Blanc that balances expressive fruit with a sense of place that has become synonymous with this flagship wine.
Â
