For the Spier Seaward Chardonnay 2024, fruit is sourced from carefully selected Western Cape vineyards with strong maritime influence. The cooler growing conditions allow Chardonnay to develop ripe stone-fruit character while retaining clarity and restraint. Winemaking is deliberately measured, with partial oak maturation adding texture and subtle savoury depth without overwhelming the fruit. The result is a Chardonnay that leans toward elegance and drinkability rather than excess richness.
